ICI - International Center for Innovation
Development of innovative business models
“To remake business, you have to push new things together.” Wise words from professor of education and sociology Woody Powell, when he spoke to a crowd of professors and researchers from Aalborg University and practitioners from the business world – among others, framework identity – at Stanford University, California.
Since spring 2008 the crowd has been putting new things together by collaborating through support networks to develop new business models and bring them to the market. The project is supported by the EU and led by Aalborg University and the business link center Væksthus Nordjylland.
Together we offer entrepreneurs a chance to gather around a new business idea across competencies and industries to help them grow the idea, develop an innovative business model, develop a prototype for it and bring the idea to the market. Framework identity’s role in this project has so far been to develop and visualise the processes at ICI.
Results
We expect to be part of the development, prototyping and commercialising of new businesses when the projects begin their odyssey through the ICI development platform together with researchers and practitioners from across the globe. We believe in the strength and synergy in bringing together academics and practitioners in development.
